That's interesting.

And, in your opinion, is it a "breach of the peace" to say "no" when a cop says "come outside I want to talk to you?"

Do you know of any cases where that has been given as the reason for an arrest?

Alternatively, if you are sitting by a hospital bed, holding the hand of your dying daughter, is that, in your opinion, a "breach of the peace?"

Do you think either of those is an arrestable offence?

Irrespective of the squabbling going on here, I think it was a heartless decision to insist the father left his daughter's side in the last few minutes of her death.

The father was talking about this on the radio this morning.

Thought a parent would have to give permission for her life support machine to be turned off ?

he said that if his name was John Brown he would not have been treated like he was

?

Didn't he make an odd comment after the interviewer suggested he had assaulted someone?

Can't remember his words exactly but seem to remember he didn't outright deny it.

If you say no to a copper, they'll do their damndest to try and spite you.

Not my personal experience but I have been with 2 friends who this happened to.

is it an arrestable offence to say "no" to a policeman?

you seem to think it is.

What arrestable offence do you think he committed?
