Are there any internal, bi-fold/cantilever doors that aren't awful?

I'll be honest, I've all but ruled them out already. We're right for space, but every time I've ever been somewhere with a bi-fold type downstairs toilet door they've been utterly, truly, awful things. Cheap, nasty, often broken.

My question is simple - are they all like this, or are some actually good?

Cheers guys. @Johnny Allround It's a new extension, and some of the detail hasn't been finalised but it's going to be VERY tight. Will try and come back to the thread when I've sat down with it and drawn up some detail

I have no idea about bifold doors but if detail hasn't been done yet, what about a pocket door?
