Hi,
I have some problems with my boiler as follows, which I would really appreciate some advice on:
1) Big pressure variation - set to 0.7-1 bar when cold but runs up to 2.5-3 bar when hot
2) Loss of pressure - I think this is related to (1) - the boiler is overpressure when hot and water is therefore venting from the relief valve, so when it gets cold again, the pressure eventually drops to below the level that the boiler will fire up, so I have to put more water in the system and the cycles starts again.
3) The boiler makes a sort of clanking sound when it fires up - is this just likely to be a worn Gas Valve?
Any help would be great. Thanks!
