hi have this problem with this boiler.The central heating fires up on this combi even when no demand for heat.I have moved some cables on the flow switch,i think thats what the part is,the problem stopped for a short period.Just wondered if any one could tell me if this part could cause this problem and the correct name for it and part number if possible.thanks for any help peter :confused:

You should disconnect the flow switch for a while and see if the problem still presents itself.

hi tony thanks for the quick reply.I removed the two grey wires from the switch and the heating did go off.Do you happen to know the proper name for this part thanks peter
 
Ariston probably call it something in Italian such as "interruttore di flusso dell'acqua calda".

I would call it a "DHW flow switch".

I think you have made a mistake there! Try again!
 
Its a reed switch on the left which IS the pump switch.

Cant see that making the boiler firing up though without proper call.

Disonnect the external control link. If it stops you've pretty much found your problem!
