Don't want to hijack the thread, but I once did a days grinding and the seal of the mask failed. My fault, it was an old mask. Rust got up my nose, and I had a nose bleed. I get hayfever now, never did before.

Always protect the nose/mouth, ears and eyes.

Hay fever- I have been told that if the body sees something it needs to fight, the immune system can go into overdrive. In your case it might have seen the rust and then noticed the pollen and decided both need to be dealt with.

Equally, If you had a cold and ate some nuts, the immune system might target both.

I don't know how true the above is but it kinda makes sense (to me).

The stress it is causing is insane. Even IF it is asbestos it’s on the wall which other than a few cracks UNDER wallpaper and places where is starting to de bond it’s still attached so causing NO issues at all. I dunno why I’m getting so worked up over it. It’s been there almost 66 years and causes no problems.

So book a pro in tomorrow! They'll come round, listen to your concerns and take samples. Problem solved.
