In my quest to get rid of a load of rubbish and create a restore point after having loads of problems over the weekend i have found a ATI Catalyst
last used a over a year ago could this be removed and what ist for ..cheers will

ATI Catalyst is for your display, remove that and you could be un-installing the drivers for your graphics card, and you don't want to do that
