I have an old bin store that has 4 openings, resulting in occassional fly tipping being dumped in there. The building has no purpose and we just need a quick solution before we get someone to demolish it, and smarten it up in the mean time. I'm keen to seal the openings to stop this happening, and thought external ply would do the job, but not sure how to attach the ply to the brickwork. The structure is brick, and the openings are about 3ft wide and head height (they used to have doors I presume many moons ago). Could I hire a masonry nailer and drive through the wood into the brickwork? If so do I need to prepare holes and anchors in the brick beforehand? Any help appreciated!!!
