Hello,

I was wondering if somebody could give me some advice.

The roof of the porch on my house is pulling away from the wall at the top as it was screwed to the wall using screws and plastic wall plugs.

I am planning to drill hole a through the wodem frame into the brick work and fit a M10 X 135MM anchor bolt. The head of the bolt will then hold the wooden frame against the wall.

I have attached an image hopefully showing this.

I was wondering if this is the correct/best way of doing it or if there is a better way or better bolt to use. Is M10 X 135MM overkill? Do i need more of the bolt in the brickwork and less in the wood?

Thanks for any advice.[/img]

should work as long as you get a good fix into the brick and cant see why you wouldnt.
