Hi,
I am attaching a ledger board (for a deck) to a masonry wall. I have got M10 anchor bolts, and on the packet they say that I shoudl be using 16mm drill.
I've tried this (with an SDS drill) - but the hole is just too tight for the fitting and trying to expand the hole with the drill bit doesn't work. I can't hammer the anchor in, because it wrecks the thread on the bolt. Should I just use a bigger drill bit? Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks
