mate forwrds jokes he gets sent, fine.

trouble is i have to open the attachment, open the attachment, open the attachment (yes more than once) obvioulsy it is frorwarded and frowarded.

I just tried sending an e,ail with a blank word page, i forwrded to myself several times, but i can still see the blue W as the atchament.

so my quesion is how come when my mate forwards something i have to open it and open it to see what it is?

Maybe they are sending the whole email as an attachment each time rather than just forwarding it?

What e-mail packages are you and your friend using ? I have seen this type of activity before between certain packages / settings.

Are the jokes in attachments already or are they just text on e-mails ?

Do the attachments follow a common convention e.g. always same extension ?

Just noticed 'Unscramble ..." at the foot of the drop menu.

The ROT13 method of scrambling involves replacing each letter with one that appears 13 characters later in the alphabet. Though this is not secure the way encrypting is, it can be useful for sensitive or offensive information.
