Hi had new Attic Trusses installed. House 10 years old.Roof was stripped of felt and tiles.
New trusses fitted next to existing then nailed.
When they fitted the treble truss this is for the stairs to hook onto.

As it sat on the wall plate they position it further forward than all the others by 37mm.
This caused a bump in the roof. My main concern should Building Control OK this.

The Builder then stripped that part of the roof and used a smaller batten. He used 19mm battens on that part of the roof to take bump out but its still not 100 per cent.
I thought Bc was to make sure job was done right....

Your post makes some but not a lot of sense, its in the wrong section of the forum and no you won't be able to get Bc to take responsibility.

BC is more standards control than quality control. If your roof if waterproof, performs thermally, and is structurally sound, then it's fine. Equally a wall is a wall, whether half the bricks are to cock with gobby pointing, versus arrow straight with beautiful weather struck pointing.
