We recently bought a house with a Auta Compact intercom. It's a exterior panal with buzzer and 2 phones. The problem we have is that the doorbell doesn't ring and when we call from one phone to the other, it doesn't ring either. Also the LED light isoff, no matter what I press, it doesn't light up. We can however hear the street, the person on the other phone and we can buzz open the door too. Does anyone know what the problem could be and how we might be able to fix it? We also have another doorbell that doesn't seem to be connected to the intercom, that one only rings via it's own speaker on the ground floor. Hopefully someone can help us out.

sometimes there is a wiring fault, especially if anything has been added or altered since initial installation. I know nothing about electronics, but a friend inspected the circuitry in mine and determined what all the wires did, and added a new amplifier unit at the door box.
AFAIK it will be very difficulty to diagnose without being in your house.
