Hi there,

Hope someone out there can help me. I'm building a cupboard under the staircase with two doors and a light inside. I'm also putting a socket inside to feed the light.

I'm looking at fitting a switch to each door which, automatically, will turn the light on when the door opens and off when the door closes. Are there such a things available? If so, can I fit both switches to a single light?

Thanks in advance for your answers

Yes there are door switches , just wire two in parellel to work one light

Thanks a lot guys.
I'm really just a beginner with electrics .... does anyone know of a link to an idiot's guide on how to fit one.
I'm not sure how wiring in parallel is done.
Cheers
