Automatic light switch

Hi
I'm about to construct a small walk in wardrobe which will be illuminated by a single ceiling light
Is it possible to purchase a switch that will operate when the door is opened,automatically switching the light on and off ?

most wholesalers will not stock these switches and will have to get them in
