Automatic Bypass Valve

Just a quick question...

do I need one?



The system will be a Y-Plan, I've read in a couple of places that since Part L you do need one, I've also read that if you leave one rad without a TRV then you don't need the bypass valve?

Is it best just to fit one for the sake of £25?
