Automatic Refresh on DIYnot

I use two different laptops to access t'internet.
One laptop automatically refreshes after reading posts, contributing, etc. The other doesn't. I have to manually refresh all the time.

I can't say I've noticed any problems on other sites.
Anybody any ideas?

what browser are you using?
sounds like javascript is restricted on one.

IE 8 on both.

One is Windows XP, t'other is Windows 7.

XP is refreshing normally, Win 7 doesn't.

Is Javascript restriction in Internet Options?
