I have a film that i was given in avi format i can convert to video but it ends up at about 6 gb, too big for a dvd how do i shrink it back to fit on a dvd and burn to allow me to play in my dvd player.

Hi, use easy dvd creator. Thats is the easiest dvd burner Ive ever used. It works with an avi and will burn it to a single layer dvd.

On a pc I use Nero to create dvd's , this has the option to make film fit to dvd.[ reduces quality slightly]

Many thanks for the reply's got the guy who let me have the AVI to burn it to disc but am having a play around with nero at the moment.
