Hi
I'm having my Video8 tapes put onto DVD, I would like to be able to edit them so that I can then burn to another disc and then play on a standard DVD player.
Could you tell me what file format would be best , one place say's it will be a VOB file, another say's WMV file and another say's AVI. Which would be best ? I'm using Windows vista home. Any tips on how to do this would be much appreciated.

One simple solution is to plug a Digital-8 camera into the DV socket of a DVD recorder. Digital-8 is backwards compatible with Video-8 and Hi-8.
