Awkward door width

Hi,
I am looking to replace a number of internal doors, and had hoped to buy some from Wickes which are sized 1981x762 or 1981x686. They can both be trimmed by 20mm (width and height).

All of the existing door are either approx 762mm or 686mm, with the exception of one bedroom door, which is exactly 702mm.

As the 762 version can't been trimmed to fit, is there a way to get the 686 to fit, without replacing the frame? Could I batten one side of the frame?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Looks straightforward.

Remove stops.
Remove quadrant.

Add 12mm to wall side ......ideally 11mm: 702-(686+5)

Ideally fit new matching, cut down architrave.

Could I batten one side of the frame?

Yes, you could put some 10mm MDF down one side of the casing to pack everything out, creating a 692mm opening for a 686mm door.

Looks like door casings, so no removable stops.

it appears to be available in width 726 Metric

I would build out one side like you mentioned, glued and screwed.

I received 7 of those doors this morning, look really nice and are heavy as lead!
