Our Potterton Performa 28 is again giving us grief. Recently the DHW is not firing up and the 70 LED keeps flashing. When the heating is turned on it fires up no problem and after a couple of minutes if I turn the hot water on it works, fires up, but the temperature goes off the scale ant the water is scalding. After about a days use it then locks out again and I have to go through the same process etc, etc. When this started happening, which was about a month ago, I noticed a leak from the pressure differential valve and I changed the diaphragm which stopped the leak. I also changed the temperature sensor as I thought this might be the reason for the high temperature but it didnt fix it. Anyone any ideas as to what it may be? Could a change of PCB be what's required?

Fantastic, thanks D_Hailsham. I changed the temperature sensor as suggested and it's working fine. You saved me £100 on a PCB. Thanks again
