B&Q bathroom taps (8 yrs old)

The basin tap (hot) keeps dripping, I've had it out and cleaned any bits out. I use a water softener so its not a scale problem.
I'm not sure how long the washers last with this style of tap and if due for replacement which one I require .

the washers won't be the problem, that's not how these taps work. It's a ceramic insert so you should be able to pick up a set of spares form b&q or a plumbers merchant. take the old one to compare.

Bear in mind that there are 1001 different QT ceramic cartridges. B&Q may still do spares for the tap, but after 8 years don't hold your breath.

I had similar problem, bought cartridge that slightly shorter in spindle after a few weeks bought new tap.

Buying a new cartridge is not the problem, the problem is weather the tap head fits on the new spindle. You could spend all day driving round to fit an exact match. Normally easier to buy new taps.

Which dimensions are they referring to ??
