I have installed 2 B&Q Designer Vertical Rads and it seems that they need bleeding, however they don't have a regular bleed valve. At the top of each rad on each side is a 'stop end' which can be opened or closed with a flat head screwdriver.

May seem like a silly question, but should I crack these open to bleed the rads?

Sounds about right to me  But have an assistant ready to shut valves quickly if you drop the cap on the floor and it rolls away
