[b]radiator are hot all the time and no hot water in bathtap

hiiii
i have a WORCESTER 24IRSF COMBIBOILER,...which i dont know much about inspite trying to read the manual.
since afternoon today the radiators are constantly hot!
and there is no hot water in bath tub tap.
the pessure bar was going up to 3 to 3.2..and once i let the bath tap running it came down to 2 and now creeping up again.
..i set the radiater to coolest marking still...but still hot.
my ex-house owner told me never to swicth the heater swicth off! forgot to ask..why?....please help! :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

You have mains water entering the boiler, either through the filling loop (make sure this is turned off - see FAQ topic) or the heat exchanger (bad news). You can verify this by turning off the cold mains connection to the boiler. The pressure should then stop rising.

You may also have another problem with the boiler, but solve the pressure problem first and then see what happens. In the meantime you can obviously shut the boiler down to turn off the heating.
