Think the B band boilers are cheaper than that at B&Q , & dont forget if you know an oap they get discount one day of the week ? think its monday than again could be wednesday ??

I think you may be able to get a cheap Band A Glowworm or Ferolli for about that price ( +vat ) at merchants.

But I question why anyone would want to do a cheap job with a cheap boiler.

Tony

for the same reasons people buy cheap cars or shoes, not everyone is as financially sound as yourself tony, there are lots of people up here in the poor north that live from hand to mouth, and the cost of that extra £100 could mean a lot , there will always be a market for a cheaper install, thats why most people get 3 or more quotes, and 99% of them will pick the cheapest, no matter what your sales talk is like.

Quite right Thomas, some OAP etc can't afford much.

I'm sure you'll have many auld dears in & around Wigan that would laugh you out the door if you suggested a top notch Band A boiler Tom.

We have many, many orders for Band B boilers here, in fact anyone that is strapted for cash & is wanting one, right up until April 2011. In fact anyone that wants one gave us an order this month.........

'..., the clever heads on here say they can't be fitted, my merchant says all boilers will be available,
is it a 'law' or a directive, and who's goin to imply it and police it ???
You are clearly not very au fait with what goes on in the heating industry.
The same people make the regs/laws as before.
The same people implement them.
The same people police them.
