I have this gross alley down the side of my house. South facing we all and a door that's never used and needs filling in.

I want to put a lean-shed thing down here. It's 800mm wide.

Open season on ideas and recommendations.

Trying to keep costs down and I have a 1.2x2.4m sheet of EPDM-OSB-50mm PUR-OSB I'm looking to use.

Knocking a lean to up shouldn't really be an issue but are your neighbours going to be happy with you either dumping all the run off water over their fence or having some sort of guttering over their fence line?

If you have to have any guttering your side your unlikely to end up with any useable space.

I have somthing simular and put posts in on my side and the lean-to was made with twin wall polycarbonate clear sheets using a combination of support rafters and twin wall polycarbonate joining strips.
I added a gutter on my side that I was able to connect to the main downpipe.
Its now a dry usable light area
