Back Boiler or Combi boiler

So you have never changed a divertor on a CDi then which is common ,less common fans or the transformer on the board
We were talking about quality steamers dude; they are not known for fans, pcbs or diverters to have common problems.

My apologises yes its the old cdi with divertor issues, the new one has the faulty gas valve issue

Never seen one with a problem yet.. Any idea what causes them to fail? All CDI's or just some models?

they are prone to a GV or two. they seem to have sorted the fan issue they had in early life. also that ridiculous rubber flap thing that gets sucked in and cause complete fan failure wasn't a clever design.

the problem is very few, if any, modern boilers are future proof or customer proof. many customers just don't get them serviced regularly enough so why make them prone to failure if they don't get serviced? it's likely the worst that happens to an old mexico if it's not serviced for 5 years is there is a very large spider graveyard underneath the burner. the possible problems for a modern steamer not serviced for 5 years is quite a lot more.
