Hi, I have a bathroom project I'm doing and just need a bit of help.

Where the shower tray is going (1200 x 800) I'm bringing the walls out using CSL (90cm x 40 cm) One to be able to fit the shower pipe work and also to create some niches because that's what the love of my life wants :). I'm levelling the walls up because the render and plaster work is bad (Friday Job) and I'm fitting travertine tiles approx 400 x 400cm so I want a nice flat surface.

Backerboard
With regard to backerboard are there any better than others or are they much the same? also best place to get it from? (Mansfield, Notts area)

Studding
The studding is going directly onto rendered lower half/plaster upper half walls, the studding will be fitted into the corner so are there best practices with regard to how you would fit studding into a corner?

Thanks for the help, will create a sketchup image later to give a clearer visual explanation.
