Is there anything you can fit to the soil pipe of a toilet to prevent backflow?

The backflow occurs when the main soil pipe servicing several flats gets blocked by stuff that shouldn't have been put down the loo in the first place. The owner of the flat with the lowest branch off has asked what can be done to prevent his flat flooding every time this happens.

I've fitted HepvO wastes to sink, shower etc. but this just means it will come back through the loo rather than the shower.

I'm looking for something, if it exists! that can be fitted to the flats soil branch before it goes into the main stack. Someone mentioned an anti-syphon loo, but I can't find anything on this.

But by fitting something to the lowest branch won't you just move the problem to the 2nd lowest branch?

yes it will. Owner of the first flat flat is feed up with being hit with it every time. Feels its time to share the backflow around the block a bit rather than hogging it all for himself. Nothing like a bit of backflow to teach you what you can and can't flush down the loo.
