Bad starting on Volcane TD

1995 ZX Volcane 1.9 turbo diesel
ive got real bad starting problems after the car has been left over night, it was occasional 1 - 2 times a week but now its every morning it takes a couple of minutes to get it going have to stop and start turning it over 5-6 times min before it will start to fire and then get going, ive changed the glow plugs old ones were fine, changed the cold start idler a month ago didn’t make any difference, the strange thing is once its started it will start first go all day long,
Any one with any ideas id be very grateful thanks

Could be a slight leak on the fuel line(usually at the filter seals or fuel line joints) allowing the fuel to run back to the tank over night.Try checking for fuel at the injectors when you first try to start the engine.
