balanced flue gas fire

hi,how do you take out a balanced flue gas fire,do you have to take of the basket out side a undo from there,the gas has been disconnected...thanks

Ill give you the level of information you have given us.

Unscrew it and remove. The flue doesnt need dis-conennecting from outside, and the basket is a flue guard which is not part of the appliance.

thanks,not sure what information i need to give,but i cant find out where to undo it,...the fire is a cannon coldridge,i have took off the heavy canopy and the front stand...i gave it a yank,but cant see were the fixings are,any info would be gratefully recieved........ :LOL:

cant see any,rocked the fire back and forth,and the outside bit that comes through the wall outside,which happens to be compoed in is moving to

paul that is the best answer i have seen on here in ages :LOL:
 
OP the coalridge has 2 screws or knurled nuts one either side at the rear near the bottom.
that removes the fascia, then you should be able to see what is fixing it to the wall.
