Balancing Rads

You have established that the rad that didn't heat up ,will do if it gets its share of the flow. So it looks like your system just needs balancing.
If you now open TRV's ,and close all lockshields ( leave the rad that's heating up in its current state) and take each new rad in turn and open it's lockshield very slightly ,until it heats up. Then move onto the next rad.

Brilliant terryplumb.

Should I have the rad that didn't heat up temp set as in return 12 degrees cooler than flow before I start to set other rads?

I wouldn't worry too much at this stage, until you get all rads heating up.

Doing this now heating has been on about 15 mins rad not heating is very hot - do I work back on myself now ?
