balancing the system

hi , i have a small terraced house with 3 rads upstairs and 1 downstairs (soon to be 2) the rads upstairs get hot when the heating is on but downstairs the rad gets warm but not very hot. all rads have been bled. if i turn all rads off upstairs the one downstairs gets hot.

i read on an earlier post that the system might need to be balanced. how is this done??

close the ones down on the locksheilds that are hot approx 1/2 way

not exactly how it should be done but try it

i think luke used them on his x-wing when attacking the deathstar.

that was lock the sheilds

locksheild is the other valve that you dont turn (normally)
