Not all women who are leaders are bossy, I've had some good women bosses who were assertive without being asses, and had some who were bossy because they didn't have the qualities to lead.
I think this is just an excuse from women who feel like they should have done better and want to blame someone else for their failure. For all her faults, I can't see the likes of maggie thatcher being bothered if someone called her bossy.
