Bar shower not mixing colder

Agree with denso13 — on a thermostatic bar mixer that won't run cold, the wax/stat cartridge is the usual suspect.
A couple of checks before buying parts:
- Make sure both hot and cold supplies are actually present (isolation valves fully open), and clean the inlet filters/strainers behind the chrome union nuts — scale and debris clogging one side is a common cause of the imbalance.
- A vinegar soak can sometimes free up a stuck cartridge, but if it's a budget bar, a complete replacement mixer is often the more economical fix, as denso13 said.
