Bar type thermostatic shower faulty

Hi folks hopefully you can offer some insight in to my shower!

Water is barely warm, even on maximum turn. I have pulled the knob off to make sure it is not slipping.

Rear of the shower bar gets pretty hot suggesting there is more hot flow than I can feel from the water coming out!

There are no identifying features for the shower unit so hopefully someone can point me in the right direction for a compatible replacement / or spare thermostat section from the picture??

Maybe it just needs stripping down?

Looks like some generic unbranded cheapo thing, such as http://www.toolstation.com/shop/p88398

Not worth attempting a repair even if parts could be obtained - just buy a new one. Most have the same spacing for the inlets, and it's a 5 minute job to remove and fit a new one.

Just over £20 on Amazon, they're not worth repairing.
