Hello
I have 5 basement rooms , there is no physical water penetrating the bare brick work
The house was built in 1880 with nothing done to the basement in all that time . Stove , cooling shelves , service bells all intact
However the the walls are a bit moldy to be honest.
I have looked at membrane systems but as there is no physical water , would a slurry do the trick ? and is it a similar cost per square foot as plastering ?
also can it be applied to a floor , there are quarry tiles down and underneath that just dirt!
Cheers
