Hi there !

I was wondering if anyone could help me ?

I have a basin tap in my house which has zero manufacturers markings that I can see.

Hence I have no idea who made it.

By any chance does recognise it ? I have attached a couple of pictures.

Kind Regards

1. No idea who made it.
2. If you want to replace the cartridge:
2a. Isolate hot and cold.
2b. Put plug in basin.
2c. Take handle off. Almost certainly lever out little plug under flat part of handle and undo grub screw but do not take out completely. Probably Allen grub screw 2.0, 2.5 or 3.0 mm. Pull handle off after undoing screw.
2d. Remove cartridge (see below).
2e. Measure cartridge dimensions and find equivalent one. Have a look at tap-spares.com.
3. The cartridges are usually held in by a ring threaded into the inside of the tap body. Some can be removed with a normal adjustable spanner, some need a special tool, lots of imagination. or brute force. If you get stuck undoing it, post another photograph once the handle is off.

Hi,

I'm afraid this may not be correct, as many manufacturers have similar looking taps.
The best match I can see from 'Google Lens' comes out as a 'Vado Photon' basin mixer tap:

But as above, you don't always need to know the manufacturer, to replace the cartridge! :)

If no real help in this case, but just a little smugness. When I fitted taps, I always cut off the label off the box in which they were supplied.
I used a dab of silicon and stuck it to the underside of the sink or somewhere below a basin.
