Just a quick question-last night after about 2 weeks of my basin waste eamptying slowly (slower than normal) I decuided to clean out the trap (bottle trap). on doing so, the part I unscrewed (at the bottom of the trap-for access) split/cracked quite a bit!
So I'm buying a new trap today on the way home later. It's a 32mm bottle trap - but as my bathroom was installed over 15 years ago - will a 32mm trap fit the older pipe (as it may not be 32mm waste pipe-it may be old imperial size, 1 1/4")!! will this be a problem? will i need to re-pipe in metric waste pipe (32mm) too?!
