basin waste

I have been given an Armitage Shanks Valencia inset bathroom basin but I'm having trouble finding the correct waste for this as the section from the plughole down is longer than the one I have at the moment. can anyone help by telling me how I find the correct waste fitting & where I can purchase it from. thanks!

Does your basin have an overflow? Have you tried a slotted waste like this..

Basin waste tails are generally 3.5" long.
How long is the one you have?

There appears to be nothing special/different about the Valencia, so it ought to take a standard slotted basin waste.
