I have a Screwfix slotted basin waste fitting product 41619 the nut to fix it into the basin is huge.
Any idea what type spanner to use and where to obtain, I have fitted it hand tight but get a leak under basin.

if this is a one off job, cheap 10 or 12 inch water pump pliers will be enough. SF do cheap :censored:

You may need to take the waste fitting apart and apply a smear of lsx to the usual surfaces that like to leak

I just use a decent quality sealant in the right places and do them up hand tight. Never fails
