Morning Chaps,

Looking at a possible future project, I am looking at putting a whirlpool bath in a small extension at the back of the house. Would there be anything stopping me connecting the waste pipe from the bath to go straight out the wall and into the same gulley that the rainwater goes into from the roof? Or does it have to find its way back to the soil stack?

Also anyone buy/install whirlpool baths that can recommend a good site to buy from?

Thanks

If you have separate sewage and storm drains you'll have to go into the stack. :( :( :( Look for the manholes. If there's one through which all the water goes (easily checked by flushing a toilet then emptying a bucket into a storm drain) you can use the gulley. It would be better to use a back-entry gulley. That way if the grating gets clogged with leaves the bath water won't flood your garden. :) :) :)
