Bath leaking around tap fittings.

I'd cut away the rubber washers and use silicone between the taps and bath on the top side. You'll be able to remove them in future if need be, I've not had any real problem getting siliconed basin wastes out for example. Silicone remover is a godsend in such circumstances.

You don't need any ptfe on the backnut threads. The silicone will help stop the taps rotating if you have trouble tightening the plastic backnuts enough given the limited space.

Ahahhh....:rolleyes: that'll be why the water gets through then. The rubber washer should be underneath the tap on the top, that's what should supply the seal, not underneath the bath between the nut and the bath...

A little white silicone on the underside of the tap body and tighten down as mogget suggests. Job's a goodun :)

Yeah silicone's easy to remove just don't use too much, doesn't need a lot.
