Usually on a bath, I'd have a tap with an attached shower piece for washing my hair.

In my new bathroom, I quite fancy one of those filler things that sit in the overflow. I'm not sure what they're called (what ARE they called?). So how do they work? I used one in a hotel and I can't remember how the hot/cold water flow was controlled. Is it part of the filler gubbins or do I need some kind of taps? And then there's the shower bit ... I'm thinking there needs to be some kind of diverter thingy? I'm not talking about a proper shower here - I have a separate shower, just what you'd usually have a attached to a normal tap. How does the whole thing go together? Links to pics would be great. :-)

A friend is going to fit all this when he's back in the UK in a few weeks and I need to have everything here ready. Screwfix and BandQ were less than helpful; left me feeling like I was asking for something that doesn't exist!

Thanks :-)
