I have removed a yellowing front panel from a Trojan Concert P shaped bath and found that only a silicon bead is holding the panel in place apart from a few clips attached to the underside of the lip of the bath. There is no beading along the bottom of the panel. There is a piece of wood attached to the floor at one end but it is clear of the panel. Is this normal? Is there anything I need to do?

They are supplied with the panel, but appear to not have been used on your bath .
Are you replacing like for like .?

The existing panel is going to be spray painted like a car bumper and then refitted. If I fit a manufactures replacement it will go yellow again in a couple of years.

If the lack of securement bothers you, then scribe a batten to the reverse side of the panel's lower part and then affix the batten to the floor before screwing through the panel into the batten. . . job done(y)
