I've just ordered a universal acrylic front bath panel from screfix to replace the mdf one thats already in situ, Now the panel is 1750mm long and the gap is 1675,
How easy is it to trim down and with what do i trim it with ?
One end will be butted against the wall tiles and the other against a false wall, bath height and approx 4" in width, appears the bath didn't reach both walls so the end was boxed in.
Any ideas gratefully received.

the ends of the bath panel, that you want to trim, will have a small 90deg return lip on it. this gives the panel some rigidity wich you will loose if you cut it down. apart from that you can cut it down with a fine tooth saw similar to a tennon saw. most upvc suppliers of fascia, soffit board etc, supply a great little saw just for this purpose.
