Bath panels

I have found Ceramica beech or oak bath panels which have solid surrounds and wood veneered panels.

Are they any good? Any one used them?

Nearly went to buy some of the panels online, but then I noticed the end panel is not wide enough.

Any one know of any other wood veneer bath panels? Its to fit a 1700x750 bath

My local timber merchant has oak veneered mdf sheets, could I use that as long as I seal the edges really well?

I would probably go for veneered ply if they have that instead. but go nuts and make sure you seal (polyurethane varnish or oil based paint) the back face as well as the edges.
