Hi all,

I am currently doing my bathroom tiling and I have now got an exterior grade plywood board to use as a bath panel (So I can tile on it). The ply is 12mm thick and I coated it in pva primer. I started to tile on it using EVOSTIK wall tile adhesive and I have woke up this morning to find that the tiles can be easily pulled off.

What am I doing wrong? Is there something I am completely missing?

Cheers

The PVA will slow down the adhesive going off so it might just not be dry enough.
Could be that the adhesive is bad.
Or it could be that you waited too long after spreading the adhesive on the panel before applying the tiles.

Hi, Gcol

Maybe your second thought was right. It was the last of the batch so maybe that coupled with the fact that it has taken longer to dry was the problem. Ill try again now and let you know.

Cheers
