Mid bathroom refurb and the bath will be going back in shortly.

There seem to be a variety of tapes and plastic trims that go under the tiles.
Any recommended solutions please?

I used this in our shower room with shower panels a few years ago and they still look neat.

They tray was siliconed to the wall first

If you have a shower above the bath, I was very happy with this kit...

Thanks RG, I used that when I did the shower to waterproof the walls before tiling.

I have stripped the walls back to brick and fitted waterproof STS boards. Similar to Wedi, Marmox, Elements etc.

It is the joint from bath edge to wall I am asking about. Yes there is a shower over the bath.
I just siliconed the bath to the wall 20 years ago and then a bead from tile to bath. No leaks.

Many people hate trims, but I hate silicon as it eventually always seems to go black. I have used https://www.wickes.co.uk/Homelux-Wh...9NyUqfK5B9RKJSe0evhoCkAcQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds many times with good success. It needs silicon under it and in the ends and I stop it inside a shower frame to stop water running along the top and out.

Done with care, it looks neat and no silicon is visible inside the shower at all, so none to go black. I have had poor results with non-homelux similar trim where the soft edge curled up.

Or just use silicon like most people do.....

Similar to what I used in the shower with wall boards.
Sits on a big bead of silicone.

This was the sort of tape I was thinking of.
