Ive got a 3 handle concealed bath/shower mixer that is leaking from the top handle as shown

Im trying to access the valve behind the handle with the leak but having trouble removing the handles.....

I managed to unscrew the peg type leaver and the hidden grub screw but the handles seem to be seized onto the splined spindles due to limescale.

I thought i was getting somewhere when i started gently levering one of the handles out with a flat screwdriver but that removed the entire spindle with the handle still firmly seized to the end!

I managed to descale this and tap the handle off the spindle with a hammer and piece of wood. but i guess ive ruined the valve now or at least the seals??

Question is how can i remove the other handles that are still in situ without repeating what ive done a above?

Also when i comes to the leaking valve can anyone advise on what type i need to look for as a replacement? pic of exsting one for reference

TIA

I'd have those tiles off and replace the mixer with a new one.
Do you know what the mixer that is?
Without knowing that you're a big stuck.
Also consider future access.

Few years ago I installed a access panel in bedroom wall to gain access to shower mixer after a small flood . This built it stuff can be a right pain

1st pic > that spindle has snapped out of the valve, new valve required. As suggested, may be time for a whole new shower valve.

Unless you know the make and model of that shower it'll be really hard to get a new replacement flow valve for the one still there, that and looking at the current one, you may have even more fun getting that out.

I don't know the make and model and it has no identifying markings.

I've got the cartridge out which came with the handle which it is firmly seized to.
It's looking like a complete replacement but I'm not in a position to be re tiling the entire wall so going to have to try to limit the damage to as few tiles as possible.

In terms of the replacement can it be anything that has two outlets since it needs to supply a shower head and a bath tap

Think of replacing just the section of tiles to cover the valve with say a stainless steel plate or something and make it a feature.

Any dual outlet shower should work as long as the water feeds and outlets are in the same orientation.
