Hi everyone,
I have a Deva thermostatic bath/shower mixer tap and the temperature control handle became loose and eventually came off completely.

Could someone explain the correct assembly order/orientation and whether this sounds like:
I have a Deva thermostatic bath/shower mixer tap and the temperature control handle became loose and eventually came off completely.
After removing the handle, I found:
- a brass splined spindle
- a white plastic temperature limiter ring
- a thin grey spacer ring
I’m now unsure:
- what order these parts go in
- which direction the white limiter ring should face
- whether the thin grey ring should sit flush against the mixer body
- why the handle will not fully push back on and sit flush
The handle currently either:
- sits slightly proud from the mixer body, or
- doesn’t align properly when tightened
I’ve attached photos of:
- the exposed spindle
- the white limiter ring orientation
- the grey spacer ring
- the partially assembled handle
Could someone explain the correct assembly order/orientation and whether this sounds like:
- incorrect limiter ring positioning,
- a spacer issue,
- or worn splines inside the handle?
